Your Passport To Heaven.

EVERYONE HAS SINNED!

Romans 3:23 (NIV) says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

THE PENALTY FOR OUR SIN IS DEATH.

Romans 6:23 (NIV) says For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR ALL SIN.

Romans 5:8 (NIV) says But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE FORGIVEN
OF OUR SINS?

To be forgiven of our sins, we must believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Salvation and your Passport To Heaven comes only through Jesus Christ. This is God’s Free Gift to us and all we have to do is accept it.

Romans 10:8-10 (NIV) says But what does it say? ‘The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,’ that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

DO YOU HAVE YOUR VALID PASSPORT?

You Cannot Sneak Into Heaven – You Must Have A Valid Passport. And That Passport Is Jesus Christ!

If you haven’t already done so, say the following prayer and mean it from your heart.

Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

If you said the above prayer and meant it from your heart, you now have a Valid Passport To Heaven.

When the time comes, we look forward to seeing you there,

Bill and Teddy Rogers

For All Mothers And Mothers-To-Be.

Following are 2 documents we received from friends. We enjoyed them so much we wanted to share them with you in this one post. Unfortunately, the authors are unknown.

1. THE MEANEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD!

I had the meanest mother in the world. While other kids had candy for breakfast, I had to eat cereal, eggs and toast. While other kids had cokes and candy for lunch, I had a sandwich. As you can guess, my dinner was different from other kids’ dinner, too.

My mother insisted on knowing where we were at all times. You’d think we were on a chain gang or something. She had to know who our friends were and what we were doing.

I am ashamed to admit it but she actually had the nerve to break the child labor law. She made us work. We had to wash dishes, make the beds and learn how to cook. That woman must have stayed awake nights thinking up things for us kids to do.

And she always insisted that we tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

By the time we were teenagers, she was much wiser and our life became even more unbearable. None of this tooting the car horn for us to come running. She embarrassed us no end by insisting that the boys come to the door to get us.

I forgot to mention that most of our friends were allowed to date at the mature age of 12 and 13 but our old fashioned mother refused to let us date until we were 15. She really raised a bunch of squares. None of us were ever arrested for shoplifting or busted for dope. And who do we have to thank for this? You’re right, our mean mother.

I am trying to raise my children to stand a little straighter and taller and I am secretly tickled to pieces when my children call me mean. I thank God for giving me the meanest mother in the world. Our country doesn’t need a good 5-cent cigar. It just needs more mean mothers like mine.

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

2. MY MOTHER

There are things that I remember, that were shared by you and me. Like how your hugs and kisses, could heal a wounded knee.

Like quiet times together, that ended all too soon. And baking cakes and cookies, on a rainy afternoon.

You taught me love and patience, you showed me how to care. Your gentle touch could ease the pain, when life seemed so unfair.

You helped me grow through all the years, of good times and some bad. And never stopped supporting, every dream I ever had.

You’ve been there when I needed you and now I comprehend. You’ve not just been my mother, you’ve also been my friend.

Proverbs 31:26-27 (KJV) saysShe openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.”
