CHRISTIANS ARE SUPPORTIVE OF GOOD PEOPLE.
Romans 16:2 (NIV) says “I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.”
CHRISTIANS ARE NOT WORLDLY IN THEIR
ACTIVITIES, ATTITUDES OR SPEECH.
Ephesians 5:3-4 (NIV) says “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”
CHRISTIANS LIVE LIFE WORTHY OF THE GOSPEL.
Philippians 1:27 (NIV) says “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.”
CHRISTIANS ARE MODEST IN THEIR APPAREL.
1 Timothy 2:9-10 (NIV) says “I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.”
CHRISTIANS STRIVE TO BE LIKE CHRIST.
1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV) says “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’”
1 John 3:3 (NIV) says “All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.”
