2 Gates – Which One Will You Choose?

155,000 PEOPLE DIE EVERYDAY...
2 EVERY SECOND!

Your Day Is Coming...Are You Prepared To Die?

THE NARROW AND WIDE GATES.

Matthew 7:13-14 (NASB) says “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

The gate that leas to eternal life is called “Narrow” while the gate that leads to eternal destruction (Hell) is called “Wide”. Narrow does not mean that it is difficult to receive salvation, but that there is only one way to live eternally with God in Heaven.

Unfortunately, only a few choose to walk that straight and narrow road and enter through the narrow gate. Believing in Jesus is the only way to Heaven, because He alone died for our sins and made us right before God. Living His way may not be popular, but it is true and right. Thank God there is one way!

According to the Lord Jesus Christ, most people die and go to Hell by their own choosing. Your don’t need to be one of them!

EVERYONE HAS SINNED.

Romans 3:23 (NASB) says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

1 John 1:8 (NASB) says If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

Some sins seem bigger than others because of their obvious consequences. Murder, for example, seems to us to be worse than hatred, and adultery seems worse than lust. But this does not mean that because we do lesser sins we deserve eternal life.

All sin makes us sinners, and all sin cuts us off from God. All sin, therefore, leads to death (because it disqualifies us from living with God), regardless of how great or small it seems. Don’t minimize “little” sins and overrate “big” sins. They all separate us from God, but they all can be forgiven.

THE PENALTY FOR OUR SIN IS DEATH.

Romans 6:23 (NASB) says For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

GOD OFFERS US HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION.

John 3:16 (NASB) says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASB) says For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

JESUS CHRIST DIED AS A RANSOM
FOR OUR SINS.

Romans 5:8 (NASB) says But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

OUR SALVATION COMES ONLY
THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

John 14:6 (NASB) says Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’”

TO BE FORGIVEN FOR OUR SIN,
WE MUST BELIEVE AND CONFESS
THAT JESUS IS LORD.

Romans 10:8-10 (NASB) says But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

If you believe that Jesus died for you, we encourage you to say the following prayer and mean it from your heart.

Dear God In Heaven…

I come to you in the name of Jesus. I confess that I am a sinner and I’m sorry for my sins, the way I’ve lived, and the things I’ve done.

Please forgive me and cleanse me with your precious blood from all unrighteousness.

With my mouth, I confess the Lord Jesus. In my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and He is alive.

This very moment, I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and I make Him the Lord of my life.

And according to Your Word, which cannot lie, I’m washed, I’m cleansed, I’m forgiven, and I am saved.

Praise God in Jesus name!

Put your complete confidence in Jesus Christ and you can be assured that you are saved and Heaven will be your eternal home!

If you have prayed this prayer, you are now an Adopted Child Of God, a member of the Family Of God, and On Your Way To Heaven.

We encourage you to acquire a Bible and read it everyday. To get a better understanding of what you just did, read first the Gospel of John and then the Book of Romans.

Then find and regularly attend a Bible Believing, Bible Teaching Church where you can be discipled to grow in the Lord and have fellowship with other believers.

If you can’t find such a church in your area, we recommend you watch SonLifeTV.

A New Relationship Between You And God.

Priests Are No Longer Needed – Now You Can Talk With God Personally And Directly!

A NEW RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND GOD.

In John 16:23 (NIV), Jesus saidIn that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.”

In this verse, Jesus is talking about a new relationship between you (the believer) and God. Previously, people approached God through priests. Now, because of Jesus' death and resurrection, any believer can approach God directly. No priest is needed - Hallelujah!

A NEW DAY HAS DAWNED

Hebrews 10:19-23 (NIV) says “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”

A new day has dawned and now all believers are priests, with permission to talk with God personally and directly.

ONLY ONE WAY!

In John 14:6 (NIV), Jesus said I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

In this verse, Jesus said that He is the only way to God the Father. You can approach God directly because Jesus' death on the cross and your acceptance of Jesus as your Savior has made you acceptable to God.

Some people may argue that this way is too narrow. In reality, it is wide enough for the whole world, if the world chooses to accept it.

Instead of worrying about how limited it sounds to have only one way, you should be saying “Thank you, God, for providing a sure way for me to be able to spend eternity with you in Heaven and not have to guess about it!”

WE ARE ADOPTED CHILDREN OF GOD

Romans 8:16 (NIV) says “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior and make Him Lord of our life, we are adopted into the family of God as His children.

We are accepted in the beloved. Since Jesus is the beloved Son of God the Father, that means that the Father accepts us as He would His own Son. We are now joint heirs with Jesus and share in the same inheritance.

The Father looks upon us (the redeemed) as if He were looking on His Son Jesus. What a blessing that Christ has told us to approach the Father in His name! What a glorious inheritance!

PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS

When you pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, it means that you come to the Father with the knowledge that your only right in approaching Him is that Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross for your sins and that He Himself has given you authority to go directly to the Father through Him.

It means that you know that you are totally unworthy of receiving anything from God and that the only reason God should grant your requests is that you come in Jesus’ name. It is not a magic formula, but a heart attitude.

In John 14:12-14 (NIV), Jesus said Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

When Jesus says that you can ask for anything, remember that your asking must be in accordance with God's character and will. God will not grant requests contrary to His character and will, and you cannot use His name as a magic formula to fulfill your selfish desires.

If you are sincerely following God and seeking to do His will, then your requests will be in line with what He wants, and He will grant your requests in His time.

JESUS CHOSE YOU

In John 15:16 (NIV), Jesus saidYou did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit - fruit that will last - and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”

Jesus made the first choice – to love and to die for you, to invite you to live with Him forever. You must make the next choice – to accept or reject His offer.

Have you prayed and talked directly to God today? Have you thanked Him for all He has done for you? If not, we encourage you to do it now!
