QUALITIES
OF
JESUS
1.
Jesus Is The Son Of God.
Mark
1:1 says
“The
beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.”

Jesus Is God Who Became Human.
John
1:14
says
“The
Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his
glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father,
full of grace and truth.” Also see John 1:1-2 and John 20:28.
3.
Jesus Is The Christ, The Messiah.
John
4:25-26
says “The
woman said, I know that Messiah” (called Christ) is coming. When he
comes, he will explain everything to us. Then Jesus declared, I, the
one speaking to you—I am he.” Also see Matthew 26:63-64, Mark
14:61-62, and Luke 9:20.

Jesus Came To Help Sinners.
Luke
5:32
says “I
have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus Has The Power To Forgive Sins.
Mark
2:9-12
says “Which
is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, Your sins are forgiven, or
to say, Get up, take your mat and walk? But I want you to know that
the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So he said to
the man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home. He got up,
took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed
everyone and they praised God, saying, We have never seen anything

Jesus Has Authority Over Death.
Matthew
28:5-6
says “The
angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are
looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen,
just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” Also see
Mark 5:22-24, Mark 5:35-42, John 11:1-44 and Luke 24:5-6.

Jesus Has The Power To Give Eternal Life.
In
John
10:28,
Jesus said “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
no one will snatch them out of my hand.” Also see John 17:2.

Jesus Healed The Sick.
Mark
1:32-34 says
“That
evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and
demon-possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus
healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons,
but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.”

Jesus Taught With Authority.
Matthew
7:29
says
“Because
he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the

he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were
harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Also see

Jesus Experienced Sorrow.

says “Then
he said to them, My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of

Jesus Never Disobeyed God.

5:19
says
“Jesus gave them this answer: Very truly I tell you, the Son can
do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing,
because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”
